  PROJECTS  
  In the context of its efforts to upgrade the quality of life of the community’s inhabitants, the Community Council of Acheleia has already completed a series of infrastructure and beautification projects, which have somewhat changed the village. Some of these projects are:

1.

The construction of a community center, which includes offices for the needs of the Community Council, a large area that is used as a cafeteria, and a big courtyard that is used for outdoor events.

The creation of a community park, which includes areas of green, a children’s playground, and benches.

3.
The renovation of the “Agios Theodosios” chapel.
4.
The construction of pavements throughout the community.
5. Replacement of the water-supply network with a new one throughout the entire community.


Continuing its efforts to convert the community into a modern and humane one, the Community Council of Acheleia has already proceeded with the scheduling of several projects. Some of those are:

1.
The construction of a soccer field in the region close to the “Agios Theodosios” chapel.
2.
The construction of a volleyball and basketball court in the region of the “Agios Theodosios” chapel.
3. The restoration of the “Agios Polychronios” chapel.
4. The construction of a new water-supply tank for drinking water at a higher point so as to cover the needs of the entire community.
